people.

So, I've been thinking alot lately about how much people affect me in my life.  Being around good people, having fun times, and knowing that there is someone there is HUUUGE for me!  Alot of my happiness is determined by the people around me and the environment I'm in.  I know that I am very independent as well, I love to do things myself and when I want to do or get something I will just do it and not depend on other people.  For me personally, it is the comfort in knowing that people are around me and there when I need them, rather than depend on them for each little thing in my life.

Because of this affect that has hold on me for surroundings and people, I have been realizing how important it is and how much I appreciate good people.  I am continually amazed at how many insincere people there are in this world that I realize I don't have to let them be a part of my life...On the other hand, I truly am so gracious to know and have good sincere people as a part of my life.

Do you ever just have those friends or even acquaintances that make you think, " Wow, you are just cool.  I am so lucky to know you and be a part of your life, however small it may be."  Those people that instantly make you want to be a better person and help you realize that things you may feel are odd because they are not of the world, are actually ok because you know that it's really the right thing.  The kind of people that you just look at and think they deserve the world and are so happy to have them know you.  The kind of people that you want to emulate.  The kind of people you fashion your future spouse after.  The kind of people that make you realize, this world isn't all that bad as it is made out to be.  The kind of people that bring back that traditional chivalry and brotherly kindness.  The kind of people that are true to themselves always and don't realize how much others appreciate their consistency.

I have a friend who became very close to me within a matter of weeks.  A friend that shared my optimism and in getting to know more about this person I was truly inspired by their love for life and humble character.

I have a friend who sets the standard for my future husband.  Someone who possesses the qualities and personality I hold as the minimum level that I feel that very few people can live up to.

I have a friend that truly cares about keeping in touch, although our lives have gone completely separate ways.  I appreciate that more than anything.

I have a friend that does the things they say they're going to do.

I have a friend that wins the best listener award.

I have a friend that will always contribute to my spontaneity.

I have a friend that is so amazing in each aspect of life and makes me realize how lucky I am to be around them.

I have a friend who has a personality unlike anyone I've ever met, and anyone I think I'll ever meet.

I have a friend that I just want to be around every single day and share in their knowledge and view of the world.  Someone who appreciates the little things that others feel they are above.

I have a friend that I pray for each night.

I have a friend who I wish I could have been best friends with.

I have a friend that I'm very off and on, here and there, up and down with.  Someone who I can't understand where all the good and bad feelings surface.

I have a friend that I'm glad I got to know without just going by first impressions.

I have a friend that I see with the most amazing potential.

I have a friend that has so much to offer it cannot be measure  Someone I try to live after, and I hope they never settle for less than the world that they deserve.

I have a friend that probably doesn't know how much I admire and wish I could be around more.

I have a friend that is one of the greatest people and I wish I could have known them more personally for a longer period of time.

I have a friend I just can't let go.

I have a friend who will truly do anything for anyone, sincerely.

I have a friend who is a much better friend to me than I am to them.  Someone who would do anything for me and deep down it is much appreciated and great comfort.
I have a friend who depended on me for a time and it meant alot to be that person.

I have a friend who came in to my life at the perfect time and was who I needed and shared a million great experiences with.

I have a friend who is so free to give compliments and really came into their own.

I have amazing friends and people in my life.  I try to tell people in my life how much they mean to me and what I admire about them ( in a non-awkward or sappy way of course, but just as a friend ;)).  I think it is so important to tell people what you are thinking if it involves positivity about them.  Some people may already know it, or think it; but sometimes it is so nice to have that reassurance and to hear it from someone to bring it to reality.  Family and friends are the most important things in this life and whatever we can do to nurture, enhance, and even form greater relationships is essential to creating greater happiness for yourself and everyone around you.
